Sports, Exercise and Health (SURG G006)

Aims.

1. To understand the contribution of sport and exercise to improving the health of the general population.
2. To understand the special needs, and unique risks, of sports and exercise in certain groups, including the elderly, the young, female athletes, those with chronic diseases (e.g. asthma, diabetes), and the disabled.

Location. Archway Campus, except for visits to Olympic Medical Institute and Stanmore. Detailed location information about visits will be provided during the module.
