Course information, 2005/2006 Biomechanics (PHOL G017, 7.5 credit); Anatomy + Biomechanics (SURG G005, 15 credit) Course organiser: Prof Don Grieve, Institute of Human Performance, UCL. These 2 linked modules share a core of biomechanics lectures and workshops, but with some special classes aimed either at sports-related topics or patient-related ones. The 15 credit module has in addition a series of anatomy classes on the trunk and limbs. There are 2 slightly different versions of the 7.5 credit module, one for the Sports Physiotherapy students and the other for the non-sports physiotherapy programmes. this is an Excel file): Anatomy sessions For an extensive annotated list of reading suggestions, click here. The Lecture Powerpoint presentations that will be used in the lectures are all on the UCL website. They were created with Powerpoint 2002 It is assumed that you will have looked at them in advance of a lecture. It may prove helpful to print them out (2slides/page, grayscale) so that you can annotate them during a lecture. Some of the slides contain GIF animations (which will not print out!). If you wish to examine their contents, you could copy and paste them to the animation pack in Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop and export the images from there. Probably not worth the effort. It is intended to place further Powerpoints on the UCL site as feedback after each workshop.
