Welcome to Archway Healthcare Library

The library has established experience in supporting the information retrieval aspects of the systematic review process. We have been involved in providing the complete literature search for a number of reviews, working closely with researchers to establish the taxonomy of the topic and provide selected results from a range of sources in appropriate formats (usually reference management software). We can also help researchers construct high quality literature searches by acting in an advisory role, for example to assure compliance with standard Cochrane Library methodology.

Examples of current and past projects:

How to spread good ideas - A systematic review of the literature on diffusion, dissemination and sustainability of innovations in health service delivery and organisation  2004

The Contribution of Nurse, Midwife and Health Visitor Entrepreneurs to Patient Choice: A scoping exercise: A report to the National Co-ordinating Centre for NHS Service Delivery and Organisation. Revised version October 2006

Interactive computer-based interventions for sexual health promotion   Cochrane Library Systematic Review 2010

Computer-based diabetes self-management interventions for adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus  Cochrane Library Protocol 2010
