| Medline
is a clinical medical database, indexing 4,900 medical journals world-wide
in a range of languages. It is strong in clinical research, and is
well indexed using Medical Subject Headings (MESH). Because of its
size it is usually divided into chronological sections, back to 1950. |
| Middlesex

| There
are various free internet based versions of Medline, one of
which is Pubmed, hosted by the National Library of Medicine.
This is particularly good for finding very recent articles. Access
to Pubmed is through a seperate page on this site. |
| This
page also links to a brief tutorial on searching databases, which
can be applied to any version of Medline. |
| Please
note that connecting to any of these sites will take you away from
the Archway Healthcare Library page. You will be able to return by
using the back button on the browser toolbar (top left of screen). |
